The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit in Bali

For the first time, Indonesia holds the G20 Presidency, a cooperation forum of 20 of the world’s major economies.
The Indonesian presidency started December 1st, 2021, and will end on November 30, 2022.
The G20 is an international forum focusing on policy coordination in economics and development. It represents the world’s economic and political power, with its member representing 80% of the world’s GDP, 75% of global exports, and 60% of the global population The G20 consists of 19 countries and the EU: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, People’s Republic of China (PRC), France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union.
The Indonesian Presidency is focusing on three priorities
- Strengthening of Global Health Architecture
- Digital Transformation
- Energy Transition
The highlight of the activities of the Indonesian G20 Presidency is the Bali Summit, which took place on November 15 -16, 2022.
